Over a Million
Over a million Lasik procedures have been done. The Lasik procedure is painless and takes 15 minutes.
Only eye drops are administered to the eye just before the Lasik procedure. Usually just a few hours after the Lasik procedure you will be able to see the change in your vision. |

Advanced procedure

What's the LASIK Dallas procedure like?
An eyelid opener is placed to prevent you from blinking. Dr. Mazahari will then use a highly refined instrument called a microkeratme (Hansatome) to create the protective flap. (Dr. Mazahari has been trained at John Hopkins Medical Center as the 1st group of surgeons in the country on Hansatome.) The protective flap will be folded back and the laser applied to the cornea beneath the flap. Generally, the laser is used for less than one minute. Then the flap is folded back into place, where it adheres naturally and securely. Dr. Mazahari will be explaining each step to you at the time of the procedure. |
